What is on by default
Only what the site needs to work: session and security cookies, and the settings you choose yourself, such as the colour theme. Analytics and marketing storage start switched off, and stay off until you choose otherwise in the consent banner.

Analytics and chat widgets
An analytics script or a chat widget loads only if the operator has configured one for the deployment, and only after you allow it. If one is enabled, the cookies it sets belong to that provider.
